BroccoliAddict is built on privacy-first principles. We design our offline-first architecture so that your shopping lists, route habits, and pantry data belong strictly to you.
Supermarket geofencing is executed locally on your device via CoreLocation (iOS). Your real-time GPS coordinates are never uploaded to our servers or shared with advertisers. We only store the public supermarket coordinates required to calculate in-store item sequence models.
Collaborative list sharing uses cryptographic Magic Keys. Guest collaborators do not need to provide email addresses, names, or passwords.
All transit communications use modern TLS 1.3 encryption with strict HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS). Backups and persistent data are stored securely on private clusters.
